Required Materials

You will use these 4 items for all your future dives.

Dive Manual

1

PADI Open Water Diver Manual

Please purchase at least one manual per household, unless you prefer having one of your own.  You will not need them during class; very few people read them before or during class.  The manuals are used as a reference prior to future dive trips.  Of course you may buy as many as you like!

Dive Planner

2

Padi Dive Table with Instructions

Each person is required to have their own dive table.  They will be used in class and for every dive going forward.  We plan and monitor our pressure, depth, and residual nitrogen levels for every dive.  It may seem complicated, but it won't be after your second day in class!

Your dive planner has been included in the cost for your scuba class.

Log Book

PADI Refill Log Book

3

PADI Refill Log Book

Required for every diver. Two things divers must have in order to rent scuba tanks and air fills, are their certification card and a log book.  Divers are required to record the details of each dive.  Log books shows the number of dives, frequency, and variety of your diving history and more!

Your log book is included in the open water certification cost.

Certification Card

Open Water Certification Card

4

Open Water Certification Card

It is good for a lifetime. If you haven't been diving for a while, a refresher helps you remember all that will keep you safe and comfy for your next ocean experiences.  Some people prefer to take the course again, minus the exam!  It isn't required.

Your cert card is included with the cost of certification.

During class you will learn everything you need to know to be a safe and competent diver.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
